RIDEAU CARLETON, November 26, 2020 - As part of an ongoing restructuring at Rideau Carleton Raceway, Sunday November 29 will be the last day race office services will be provided through Woodbine Mohawk Park's office.
Racing Manager Peter Andrusek, in conjunction with the Directors of the NCRHHA, wish to express our most sincere gratitude to Race Secretary Scott McKelvie, to Dana Keyes and Scott’s entire staff for their outstanding commitment to our race program over the last three years.
“Back in October of 2017 there existed much trepidation in our racing community when we entered into this partnership with Woodbine Entertainment Group and the Ontario Racing Alliance. Scott was instrumental steering this transition and cementing a foundation, maintaining stakeholder’s confidence and willingness to invest in our program’s future.”
Commencing with Sunday December 6
th’s race card, all race office services will be provided through Ian Fleming’s office.
“I am thrilled with this development, now inheriting Ian’s experience and passion,” noted Mr. Andrusek. “Just look at what this man has accomplished over the last year on the other side of the province. Now, that we are finally seeing a light at the end of the pandemic tunnel, Ian’s management, combined with the significant investments made by Ontario Racing in our program, is setting the table for a strong reset.”
All participants are encouraged to review Rideau Carleton Raceway’s condition sheet for the following Sunday, which will be available through the usual sources by Tuesday, December 1.
