AGCO Bulletin: Association Requirement to Provide Microchip Identifier/ Temperature Reader

The Registrar hereby orders that all Associations conducting Standardbred racing are required to have equipment capable of scanning identifying microchips and reading temperatures in racehorses.

This Directive updates the AGCO’s Standardbred Rules of Racing, making the updates to the following chapters, effective January 1, 2019:

·         Standardbred Rules of Racing, Chapter 7: Racing Associations

·         Standardbred Rules of Racing, Chapter 32: Paddock Judge and Equipment Inspector
