Race 1- (4) TANDEM put it all together at this track two starts back and she followed that up with a nice effort at Mohawk Park. She gets my nod over (8) CHEESES MURPHY who is 2 for 11 now after going 0 for 9 to start out and he has the necessary gate speed to overcome the wide draw. (6) MISS CONGENIALITY faced tougher and she will take action here. She’s not out of this.
Race 2 – (3) POUND STERLING just looks faster than these right now and he’s in with a big shot here. (2) SWAN BEFORE ALL can do much better if he stays flat this time, obviously, but I’ll use him underneath. (1) ROSE RUN UNCLEBUCK looks best of the rest and he can make his way onto the Tri or Super ticket off a following trip.
Race 3 – (5) ARCTIC FORCE was a narrow loser after missing 3 1/2 weeks between starts and he has a very good chance to break his maiden here. (4) FARROS REIGN should be the main threat and having Jamieson driving won’t hurt. (2) DISNEYMAN is capable of a good effort if he behaves, but his most recent chart line is concerning.
Race 4 – (3) OLE JACK MAGIC lays over these on class and this is a spot where he should win; no excuses (2) EDDY is on a great roll and he is the logical alternative to the choice here. (5) POWER AND GRACE has also been racing well and her potent early speed puts her in the mix here.
Race 5 – (3) LEGION SEELSTER hasn’t placed one hoof out of place so far and he has a good chance to keep his perfect record intact here. (1) JIMINY BEACH races well here and with two wins in his last four starts he’s the most likely upsetter. (2) KEEPER CRUISIN should get a good trip near the front; consider for exotics.
Race 6 – (8) LOVE FOR LIFE gets a major driver change here to a catch driver and a big effort is expected. (1) DELCREST STARANGEL is getting closer and she should provide a challenge if she stays flat this time. (7) E L SUGAR is worth a look for the exotics on debut on breeding alone.
Race 7 – (4) SUDDEN PASSING sticks out here on class and this is a field that she should beat. (3) THE GIRLS OF IMAGE paced a huge third quarter last time and she is worth a look for all slots at a price. (8) JIMBELINA is on a roll but the waters get deeper here with her getting the worst post; your call. (7) AZURE SEELSTER can take a share carrying her excellent current form. (1) NAUGHTY LADY B figures to at least land in the High-5 starting from the inside.
Race 8 – (5) TIME TO DANCE was the easiest winner last time with driver Kelly never lifting a line at any point; call to repeat. (2) SUN OF A SHOW figures to get another great trip here and he is the one to hold off. (4) DUBLIN SEELSTER is capable of better, but he needs to be able to stay flat to show it.
Race 9 – (5) CENTURY FARROH has been the boss in Ontario all year and he can get back on track here. (3) BEST IN SHOW was a narrow loser to the choice last time and he’s the obvious danger. (6) STAG PARTY has been racing better but he may need to take the overland route here starting from this post; using underneath.
Race 10 – (4) DREAM TOGETHER has been perfectly prepped for this and I expect a big effort from this mare, hopefully at a square price. (7) RUN DIRECTOR is in top form and he should be right there despite drawing outside. (6) DANCER HALL is capable of better than he showed last time, especially if he clears quickly.
Race 11 – (7) BIT OF LUCK faces easier here and a big speed try should be coming. (4) LEADER TONIGHT is worth a long look off the claim and moving north from Mohawk park. (3) MIGHTY MACH has raced well here twice straight, and he should be a factor again. (5) ROCKABILLY CHARM is right there most weeks, but he faces tougher here and I’ll use him underneath. (2) DEANACH DON PAIRTI can follow along and take a small slice.
